COMMERCIAL
With our studio space and RED cameras, GOINON specializes in high end image quality - striving to achieve “that” look, the ultimate in color and texture pop. We take pride in our lighting setups and balanced temperatures in order to get the most out of the lights and the product we are shooting, “when the product pops with light, it can take on a life of its own.” These principles were developed and practiced in Hollywood California, when our principle cinematographer was in the Local 80, Los Angeles’ lighting technician union, back in 2004.
DOCUMENTARY
We have a long history in documentary filmmaking that began on September 11th 2001, in downtown Los Angeles, the 1st day of photography for “Hiro’s Table”, an award winning documentary by director Lynn Hamrick, DGA. Jacob Knight was the principle cinematographer on the award winning film that can be viewed on Amazon Prime. At the Institute of Military Technology we developed just under 40 long and short form documentaries, ranging from a WWII P40 pilot’s story, to the Vietnam war, the M16, a NASA armored vehicle, to complete two year ground up tank restorations of a M19, M37 and M41(post production). Recently we stepped back out of the military genre and developed a long form documentary about a Florida Vegetable farmer, Steve Maresca and Pepper Trail Farm (post production).
MUSIC
Our Love for music is strong, in the early years, we worked with DJ Greyboy documenting him and side projects. The WARCHURCH collective (that was ahead of its time) and Jud Nester and his funk band Delmos Wade. We shot Mother Mary and the Black Dirt, Extra Action, and the Whiskey Shivers out of Austin Texas. Los Goyos out of Puerto Rico...Nez Fest in Florida, 2023. A short documentary on a Rock Photographer, who’s 1st gig was shooting Jimmi Hendrix(post- production) and another short documentary on a Music Producer/ Composer(post production) who lives and works in LA. We are looking forward to shooting more music projects in the future
